Terms of Service

This agreement was last updated on July 1, 2026.

Effective date: July 7, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Streamcord Discord bot, the dashboard at dash.streamcord.io, our websites, documentation, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Streamcord, LLC (“Streamcord,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By installing Streamcord in a Discord server, logging into the dashboard, using a Streamcord slash command, or subscribing to Streamcord Pro, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Summary

Streamcord is a Discord bot that delivers live stream and video notifications from Twitch, YouTube, and Kick. By using Streamcord, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, the Discord Terms of Service, and the terms of any streaming platform you connect. Server Administrators are responsible for the configurations they make, including the channels notifications post into, the role and user mentions in templates, and any dashboard access delegated through Manager Roles. Streamcord retrieves only public data from supported streaming platforms and does not use that data to train machine-learning models. The Service is provided “as is” and depends on third-party platforms we do not control. You may stop using Streamcord at any time by removing the bot from your Discord server.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to use Discord in your country (whichever is higher), to use Streamcord. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

You access most features of the Service by logging in with your Discord account through Discord’s OAuth flow. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord, Twitch, Google, and Kick accounts and for all activity that occurs under your account, including actions taken by users to whom you have granted dashboard access through a Manager Role.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Streamcord to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation, or infringe the rights of any third party
  • Send spam, harassment, raid messages, or content that violates Discord’s Community Guidelines
  • Mass-mention @everyone, @here, or large roles as mention spam
  • Install or operate Streamcord in a Discord server that itself violates Discord’s Terms of Service
  • Configure a custom webhook to deliver content to a destination you do not own or control
  • Self-host, fork, redistribute, or impersonate the Streamcord bot or its branding
  • Scrape, aggregate, or republish API Data, or use it to train any machine-learning model
  • Bypass any platform’s rate limits, branding rules, or access controls
  • Reverse engineer the Service, except as expressly permitted by applicable law

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate any of the above.

4. Discord

Streamcord operates as a Discord bot and uses the Discord API to deliver all of its core functionality, including notifications, Live Role, Linked Roles, Schedules, slash commands, and dashboard authentication.

By using Streamcord, you agree to be bound by Discord’s Terms of Service and acknowledge Discord’s Community Guidelines and Developer Terms of Service.

Installation and permissions. Anyone with the Discord Manage Server permission may install Streamcord from the Discord App Directory or via streamcord.io. On installation, Discord will request that you grant the bot the permissions it needs to function:

  • View Channels
  • Manage Events (required for Schedules)
  • Create Events (required for Schedules)

  • Use External Emoji
  • Bypass Slowmode

How Streamcord communicates with users. Streamcord communicates through Discord slash commands, message components, and notifications posted into channels you select. Streamcord does not initiate direct messages to Server Members; the bot will send a direct message to a Server Member only in response to a slash command or interaction that the user initiated.

Server Administrator responsibilities. You are responsible for the configurations you make in your server, including the channels and webhooks notifications post into, any role or @everyone mentions in your templates, the use of Stream Cleanup to delete messages, and any dashboard access you delegate through a Manager Role. The actions of any user granted a Manager Role are deemed your actions for purposes of these Terms.

10. Disclaimers, third-party content, and limitation of liability

10.1 Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Streamcord disclaims all warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, and non-infringement, as well as any warranty arising from course of dealing or course of performance.

Without limiting the foregoing, Streamcord does not warrant that:

  • Any notification, role assignment, or scheduled message will be delivered at a particular time, in a particular order, or at all
  • Any defect in the Service will be corrected
  • The Service will be free of viruses or other harmful components
  • Streamcord will continue to support any specific third-party platform indefinitely

No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained from Streamcord or through the Service creates any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms.

10.2 Third-party content and platforms

The Service retrieves, displays, embeds, and links to content that originates on the streaming platforms it integrates with, including channel names, profile images, stream titles, video titles, descriptions, thumbnails, viewer counts, and embedded video players from Twitch, YouTube, and Kick. Such content is provided by the relevant platform and by the streamers, creators, and other users who publish on those platforms.

Streamcord does not create, control, review, endorse, verify, or assume responsibility for any third-party content, and makes no representation as to its accuracy, completeness, lawfulness, currency, or quality. You acknowledge that any reliance you or your Server Members place on third-party content is at your own risk. Disputes regarding third-party content, including takedown requests, copyright complaints regarding the underlying stream or video, account issues, and content-policy concerns, should be directed to the relevant platform rather than to Streamcord.

Third-party platforms may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue their services, APIs, or content at any time, which may affect the Service, and Streamcord is not responsible for any such modifications or interruptions.

10.3 Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will Streamcord, LLC, its affiliates, or any of their officers, directors, employees, contractors, or agents be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages
  • Any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunities, or business interruption

The foregoing limitations apply to any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Service, or any third-party content accessed through the Service, even if Streamcord has been advised of the possibility of such damages and even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Streamcord’s total cumulative liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of:

  • (a) the total amounts paid by you to Streamcord for the Service in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or
  • (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).

The limitations and exclusions in this Section apply to all claims, whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, statute, or any other legal theory. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Termination

You may discontinue use of Streamcord at any time by removing the bot from your Discord server and, where applicable, cancelling Streamcord Pro through your Discord account.

We may suspend or terminate your access, in whole or in part, if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, that your use exposes Streamcord or others to legal or security risk, or that suspension or termination is required by applicable law or by a third-party platform whose terms govern the relevant integration.
